Daniel D. HoolihanHoolihan is Past-President of the Electromagnetic Compatibility Society of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). He has been a member of the Board of Directors of the EMC Society since 1987 and has held several leadership positions in the Society. He most recently was Chairman of the Planning Committee for the 2002 IEEE International Symposium on EMC held in Minneapolis in August of 2002. Daniel is also active on the Accredited Standards Committee on EMC, C63. This committee is accredited by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) for standards development in the area of Electromagnetic Compatibility. He is presently the Chairman of two subcommittees on C63: SC6 on Laboratory Accreditation and SC8 on EMC and Medical Devices. |

Hoolihan served as Vice-President of the Minnesota Operations of TÜV Product Service from 1994-1999. He was the Chief Operating Officer and co-founder of AMADOR Corporation from 1984 to 1994. From 1969 to 1984, he was an EMC engineer and manager for Control Data Corporation in Minnesota. He has an MBA from the University of Minnesota (1975), a Masters in Physics from Louisiana State University (1969), and a Bachelors Degree in Physics from St. John's University -Minnesota (1966). |
